I finally made this recipe for Pecan Lace Thins that I got from @Mercuralis
Fun and they were a big hit.
They are these thin crispy sugary bits of greatness. They are like the top crispy part of creme brulé without the creme. I was really amazed at the large number of cookies this small amout of ingredients produced. I used a silpat baking mat and they were very easy to remove from the pan.
